Confucius Classroom at Burgas English Language High School under Confucius Institute in Sofia Participated in the Christmas Celebrations in the City

On December 22, the Confucius Classroom at Burgas English language High School, affiliated with the Confucius Institute in Sofia, was invited to take part in the Christmas celebration held at Tria Space Central Park in Burgas. The event attracted more than 200 local residents.
To match the festive atmosphere and present Chinese culture, teachers and students of the Confucius Classroom carefully organized a variety of interactive workshops. Activities included Chinese calligraphy, a chopsticks challenge, shuttlecock kicking, New Year fortune slips, Chinese zodiac exploration, and fun photo sessions. Local residents enthusiastically joined in, trying their hand at writing Chinese characters and participating in the games, experiencing firsthand the unique charm of Chinese culture. The atmosphere at the event was lively and joyful.
By combining cultural displays with hands-on experiences, the event effectively enhanced local residents’ understanding of and familiarity with traditional Chinese culture.
Since its establishment, the Confucius Classroom at Burgas English Language High School has offered high-quality Chinese language courses and organized a wide range of cultural activities, attracting many fans of Chinese language and culture. It has become an important platform for cultural exchange between China and Bulgaria in the local community.
